Farnady Interiors

I had a special opportunity to shadow an Interior Designer, Katalin Farnady, at her firm FARNADY INTERIORS in Annapolis, Maryland.

It was such a meaningful experience to see the behind the scenes of how design decisions are shaped in real life. I got to visit a residential project site, help with picking out materials and witness how designers collaborate with professionals from other firms to bring one shared vision to life; and of course stay on trend like the fashion industry when it comes to new fabric and patterns.

As a freshman in Interior Architecture, this experience helped me use knowledge from architecture courses beyond the classroom, such as reading this blueprint.
